ACA News Amherst Christian Academy hosted its first Cross County regional competition for the season this past month. Students and coaches from private schools across Western New York participated with their teams at varsity, junior varsity, modified and sprite levels. Upcoming Events Saturday, October 7th at 10:30 a.m. ACA will celebrate its Homecoming Weekend for its alumni and current students. We are so excited this year to have our students, both past and present, join us for this fun event. Our nation’s anthem will be lead by Sarah Comfort and kick off will be at 10:45 a.m. Families may join us for our half-time parade and a ceremony to honor our senior football athletes. News On Wednesday, June 7th some of our high school students went to New York City on a missionary trip for one week. We are so proud of our students and the work they did there. They were able to minister to many people through prayer stations and food distribution. Our students came back with a strong desire to serve the Lord more and an excitement about their next missionary trip in the spring of 2018. Upcoming events On Sunday, June 4th at 11:15 a.m. ACA will host its 8th annual Spring Festival. This will be a fun family event. Families may order a barbecue chicken lunch with potato salad, dinner roll and dessert. There will be a live auction and a silent auction. ACA News ACA is excited to share the opening of its Montessori Nursery on September 5th 2017. Families with children 18 months to 3 years old may register at any time. This hands-on child-centered program is available to all families from 8:25 a.m. until 11:20 a.m., Monday through Friday. Students and staff have had a great start to the year. Our upper center students toured Houghton College and visited their ropes course. Our lower center students enjoyed their first field trip of the year to the Clarence Pumpkin Patch. Meanwhile, all the early elementary students visited Roberts Farm to pick apples and make apple sauce. All our ACA students and staff enjoyed our Homecoming game and both our flag football and volleyball teams look forward to competing in
