The test is separated into 10 subtests covering reading, mathematics, spelling, language, science social science and listening. Each subtest is estimated to take between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the section. These are only suggested times as the Stanford 10 are not a timed test.

The testing will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 3 and 4. We will begin at 8:25 am with several breaks and lunch. Please make sure your son or daughter arrives at 8:15 am the latest to get situated in the correct classroom. Depending on your son or daughter’s grade level, the tests end at varying times. Please see the chart below for the best pick up time each day. Please do not arrive early as buses will need to be coordinated first. 9th – 12th graders will complete their testing on Tuesday and will not need to return on Wednesday.

Tuesday, May 3:  All Grades end at 3:15pm 

District buses arrive at 3:00 pm. Please enter   entrance furthest from Church and school sign and lineup after buses. One of our teachers will be at the door to call your son/daughter for you. Thank you for your help to ensure the safety of the students.

Wednesday, May 4: Grades 1-5 and 8 end at 1:15pm | Grades 6 & 7 end at 11:30am.

Your son or daughter will need to be prepared with a marker, a calculator, a ruler with inch and centimeter markings, two sharpened soft-lead (No. 2) pencils with erasers and a sharpener. We request students to be dressed modestly with non-form fitting clothes and shoes. Please no flip flops or slip-on shoes for safety reasons. Students involved in cheating will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. We also request that students are respectful to proctors and volunteers. Thank you for your help with these matters.

Please pack a lunch with a drink and two snacks for the break times. The following lunches are available:

Tuesday, May 3:   Chicken Pot pie, salad, fruit and drink - $4.00

Wednesday, May 4: Hot dogs, fries, fruit and drink - $4.00

In order to plan for our lunches, please go to our website at aca.academy under student life and lunches and place your order by Friday, April 29 if your son or daughter will order a lunch. All payments can be made the day of the test. Thank you for your help with this.
